Abstract This study is devoted to the development of algorithms and software for earthquake record processing. The are based on methodology used by Pacific Earthquake Engineering Research Center implementation scientific project NGA-West2. purpose processing determine reliable values ground acceleration other parameters earthquakes from available records velocity time series. To analyze operation algorithms, (simultaneously recorded series velocity) taken European Rapid Raw Strong-Motion database were used. developed implemented will allow in future form a strong motions building regional attenuation models territory Russian Federation.
